MATCH UPDATE:

A great and interesting match was played yesterday, as the top teams (Liverpool, Chelsea) apparently find themselves in carabao cup final after Liverpool played a semifinal game against Arsenal while Chelsea played against Tottheham.

The match was played on Sunday afternoon (27th of February 2022)

Furthermore,ThomasTuchel started with a different lineup as he plays a 3-4-3 formation: E.Mendy, Rudiger, Thiago Silva, and T.chalobah as the defensive players for the team and also used Marco Alonso, Azplicuter, kovacic and Kante as the mid players and he made used of Pulisic, K.harvert and Mount as the attacking players. 

While the Liverpool coach (Jürgen Klop) Lineup was: Kelleher, Virgil, Matip, Keita, Fabinho, Henderson and he made used of Salah, Mane and Ruben Diaz as he plays a 4-3-3 formation, as his starting lineup for the clash yesterday.


       In the first half play, Chelsea made so many goal loss by mason mount and Pulisic, that could have won them the carabao cup yesterday, Pulisic made the first attempt for Chelsea in the 7th minute of the game, as a cross was being given by azplicuter, which Pulisic couldn’t find a fine finishing, Mason mount was the second to make an attempt which he also received a great pass and he ended up playing the ball out. Anyway Liverpool also made some great strikes by Salah and mane in the first half game, but Mendy denied their shot with his great saves.

In the second half play off, both teams made some changes which made the match harder, for both sides to win. Anyway after the second half game, both teams went on an extra time game which ended (0-0)Chelsea made a goal keeper substitution which E.mendy came out for Kepa, before the second half final whistle was blown.

 The both sides ended up playing a penalty kick as Liverpool won Chelsea (10-11) the last penalty for Chelsea was being played by Kepa as he couldn’t find a perfect position to score the penalty.
