MANCITY VS MAN UNITED

  The premier league match continued again, as manchester city welcomed Manchester united to the ethihad stadium. However Manchester united fails to win the derby against mancity, yesterday evening. first half may have seen Man City 2-1 up, thanks to a brace from Kevin De Bruyne and a goal from Jadon Sancho, but it was a fairly even contest with Cristiano Ronaldo's absence throwing a spanner in the works for the hosts.


But the second half was a completely different story with City dominating their rivals. City had 92% of possession in a 15 minute period and the introductions of Jesse Lingard and Marcus Rashford had little to no impact for Ralf Rangnick's team.

Riyad Mahrez was the star of the second 45, scoring two. The first was a screamer as he converted from a corner to put the visitors out of sight and he got his second in the dying moments of the match after a VAR check.

The match started with a promising performance from United but it turned out to be a shocking and at some points embarrassing for the visitors. The loss means they are outside of the top four after Arsenal defeated Watford earlier today and City have put their six-point cushion at the top of the table back in place.

Liverpool will fancy their chances of knocking them off the top but if City continue with this form they'll be the ones lifting the trophy this season. anyway manchester united are not in their best form looking at the match which was played yesterday as they lost (4-1)
